Mental coaching for balance and well-being

Mental coaching helps you become more aware of your thoughts, emotions and behaviors to regain balance. Whether you're struggling with burnout, stress at work, racing nerves, or just want to learn to handle pressure better - your mental health is the foundation for everything you do.

How does mental coaching work?

In our sessions, you will learn practical techniques to:

  • Better distribute your energy and prevent exhaustion
  • Recognise stress and pressure before it becomes too much
  • Setting boundaries that truly work for you
  • Finding peace in hectic periods
  • Gaining clarity on what is truly important
  • Breaking patterns that drain your energy

I use proven methods such as cognitive behavioural therapy, mental conditioning and mindfulness. No complicated theories, but concrete tools that you can use directly in your daily life.

Who is this suitable for?

Athletes come to me when they suffer from competitive tension, motivation problems or mental blocks. Think of athletes who train fine but get stuck during competitions, or athletes who after an injury have lost their confidence.

Professionals come to me when they feel like everything is getting to be too much. Whether you are an executive drowning in your responsibilities, professional who is still working at night, or someone who finds that stress is affecting your clear thinking - when work-life balance is completely lost, it's time for help.

People with burnout who want to regain their energy, want to learn how to take better care of themselves in the future and want to break patterns that have led to exhaustion.

My approach

Every collaboration starts with attention to your current situation and what you want to achieve. Together we look at patterns in your thinking and behaviour – not through tests or questionnaires, but through targeted reflection and open conversations.

Then we make a practical plan with concrete steps you can take between sessions. It is important that you develop the skills to deal with challenges independently.

My sessions are not therapy, but practical guidance. You will learn tools that you can use directly, so that over time you will have developed your own mental strength.

Results you can expect

Most people notice a difference after just a few sessions: more energy, peace of mind, better balance between effort and recovery, and more confidence in your own abilities.

In the longer term, you will develop a strong mental foundation that will help you with all challenges – whether they lie in sports, work or your personal life.

My experience

With almost 30 years of experience and living in different countries, I have learned that mental challenges are universal. I work with people of all cultural backgrounds and am fluent in Dutch, English and German. This international experience helps me understand different perspectives - stress in the Dutch work culture feels different than in Germany or America, but the need for balance is the same everywhere.

I have learned that the best results come when people rediscover their own strength and learn to trust their abilities. My role is to guide you with practical tools and proven techniques.

Over the years, I have seen how mental coaching can make the difference between getting stuck and moving forward again. Between exhaustion and vitality. Between surviving and really living again.
